At last in an American city Oulshed the auction was sold to eight vintage cars, totaling more than 3.2 million dollars, reports AP. Among the lots were two antique cars, which eventually cost the buyers almost a million dollars each.
One of the most expensive lots, as expected, became a four Mercedes-Benz Tourabout 1910 release, sold over 887 thousand dollars. The second value was the Rolls-Royce Silver Ghost 1913 release, gone in and toge over 832 thousand dollars.
All of rare cars, submitted in the auction belonged to the collector Richard Payne Jr., who died last year. It is reported that the proceeds of the sale money will go to the museum’s antique cars, based Paine, which stored its collection.
At the moment the museum has 91 old car and 35 motorcycles. The oldest copy of the museum – Amoskeag Steam with a steam engine, released in 1881.
